AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Nurses begin establishing relationships in the U.S. through the GlobeMed Ambassador Program (GAP), which allows the nurses to write with a pen pal from the hospital they are employed.

NCLEX PREPARATION
State licensing typically completed while in India or the United Kingdom.

DETAILED AGENDA AND CHECKLIST
A detailed agenda is emailed to the hospital and nurses. Both the hospital staff and the nurses are encouraged to comment and make suggestions on the activities of the week.

ARRIVAL AND TRANSPORTATION
Nurses will be met by GlobeMed Representatives at the airport and provide safe transportation to their destination.

GLOBEMED ORIENTATION
A thorough review of our policies and procedures, enrollment to our benefits, timesheet processing and payroll inititiation, our Client support procedures and etiquette, and introduction to the appropriate Company Management Team.

CLINICAL REVIEW
A review of US Nurse clinical skills and procedures, acceptable communication practices to include Nurse to Nurse, Nurse to Supervisor, Nurse to Physician, and Nurse to Patient scenarios.

INDIAN COMMUNITY
The GlobeMed staff works hard to introduce nurses to other citizens from their same culture. Current hospital staff volunteers and previously placed GlobeMed Nurses play an active role in welcoming newly arrived nurses to the community.

CULTURE ORIENTATION
A welcome dinner is held to review essential information about important U.S. cultural differences and the importance of self sufficiency, responsibility, work ethics and punctuality in your new work environment.

HOSPITAL ORIENTATION
The nurses meet their Nurse managers and the human resource staff. Pre-employment paperwork and physicals are also completed.

TRIPS TO THE BANK, GROCERY STORE AND SOCIAL SECURITY
Nurses are introduced to the grocery stores and have the opportunity to explore and purchase items. Nurses are also taken to a bank of their choice and the Social Security Office.

LOCATION ORIENTATION
Nurses are given maps marked with churches, schools and grocery stores. Nurse Delivery Coordinators introduce the city's transportation options with an explanation of how to utilize their services.
globeMed Resources Arrival and Nurse Delivery (GRAND) program includes over 110 activities that are completed to ensure a smooth journey to the US and transition into the hospital staff. Our Nurse Delivery Coordinators receive formal training in order to provide effective support to every Nurse.
